Update: The guest apologized for the wait, the cashier did not when I finally got up to her. I told her I was doing a pick up and she rolled her eyes, then ignored me and asked the lady behind me if she was also doing a pick up. Keep in mind that this is the DEDICATED LOCATION for online pick up orders. She wandered off to get our items and, when she came back, had to wander off again to get someone to show her how to get through the pick up system.

I am so displeased with the service I got here, I have NEVER been to a Macy store in my life but let me tell YOU I will NEVER shop here again after the service I got on 08/26/17. I went in to purchase a pair of flip flops, not knowing they have specific section to purchase these items, I proceed to find a check out station. Finally upstairs where I encountered a very rude attendant at the mens perfume counter, I asked her where I could check out so said items I had and she just said "well...theres someone right there!" as if I knew right away there's a attendant right behind me.I proceeded to put my sandals on (I broke my sandals I was wearing so I went in to get a new pair) I noticed they were 2 left shoes so I went immediately back in the store to tell them my problem but what I didn't expect was to be belittled when I asked a SIMPLE question. I came to the counter to ask if I could get the right shoe and she asked me if I had gotten a box with my purchase I said no, I got them from the shoe clearance area and checked out at the Ralph Lauren section upstairs because I couldn't find anywhere to check out and I didnt get a box and she said "well we only put one shoe out so no ones steals". Well thats fine I understand that but then she tells me when did you buy this item I said "2 minutes ago I have my receipt" she goes on to tell me we don't do returns but blah blah I get commission off something I don't even know but when I told her I was just confused because I had never been here before she went on to say " we used to have a sign blah blah but WE just think it's COMMON SENSE that people would recognize this is how it works" I don't care all I know is if I could, I would give ZERO stars I WILL NEVER SHOP AT MACY'S AGAIN! Thank you for the horrible first time experience.#disatisifiedcustomer

This Macy’s has the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I wanted to discuss an exchange due to a flawed design on my fossil watch band, that my boyfriend got me for Christmas. I waited at the watch booth for a half an hour and no one showed up. I finally went over to a jewelry counter where the employee was looking through a magazine, instead of assisting me. I tried to nicely explain the situation to her, she interrupted me and told me she wouldn’t exchange it nor did she offer me any other suggestions or help. She rudely told me it doesn’t matter because my watch wasn’t “expensive”. This is the first watch I’ve ever owned and it was given to me by my boyfriend so it means a lot to me to wear every day and insure that it stayed nice (and is now ruined due to the maker) and I’m in awe that an employee would be so incredibly rude and inconsiderate of their customers. I will never ask someone or purchase anything from Macy’s again. They have terrible customer service and employees who apparently think they’re better than those that shop there.
