Quite frankly, the merchandise selection was quite poor and overpriced. For example, in Toejo, the market there had a much more extensive skewered rat selection and prices starting at 10 chon. For a skinny rat on a tiny stick at Sapo, one vendor was asking 7 won. Customer service was non-existent, and I had to wonder if these people had ever sold anything to anyone. I was met with glowering stares at every stall. This may have had something to do with the Kim Jong Nom Nom Nom t-shirt I had on, but still, what happened to basic customer courtesy? All in all, I will not shop there again after I get out of Gulag 16.

The shelves were completely empty, but luckily thats all that is needed to make traditional north korean cuisine

the Koreans were nice but i noticed all they served were rats and live children.
