2 for 1 pair don't apply if you have to have a pair for reading and a pair for distance. Your not allowed to mix and match even though you only have 1 eye appointment. It isn't even displayed anywhere to see. Tried to charge me twice the cost. I won't be going back

Yesterday was the first time I had attended Specsavers, & I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, the staff were all very friendly & helpful. The optician who did my eye test was particularly helpful, explaining everything to me, as I have to be referred to the eye hospital. I also have to have diabetic screening, It was all a much better experience than the previous opticians I attended.

The optician was first class, very helpful and interested in what I had to say and friendly. The rest of the service was poor. We were in there exactly 2 hours - my eye test was about 15 mins.. a lot of staff were stood around chatting to each other. In particular a lady came in to have her glasses tightened and the girl proceeded to stand in the corner with a couple of the other staff chatting about what she had for tea the night before. After all that my partners glasses won't be ready for exactly a week! Not looking forward to the return visit.. Don't park your car in Drake Circus expecting to be an hour... Awful
