Absolutely devine, marvellous !! delicious food, warm friendly atmosphere & warm attentive, but by no means invasive, smart, well presented staff.

Upon arrival, as we had not previously been here we didn't know quite what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised as we approached we saw an old building and expected it to be all oldy worldy inside, nice in itself, but on entry were faced with a very different set up, we were standing in a very modern Bistro style, large, but very warm & welcoming establishment, with a very warm ambience about it. Once inside we were greeted warmly, and asked if we had a reservation, we were asked if we would prefer to have a drink at the bar or to be seated, we chose to be seated and had drinks brought to us, we were given a nice time frame to decide upon what dish to order, and once our food arrived it was hot, and not only did it look delicious it was delicious, every mouthfull a treat.

But what stood out for me was the service, it was second to none, it's sometimes difficult to please everyone, some people like time to choose, some like to choose & be served immediately, to me they had expertly hit that happy medium which only comes with experience, reading your customers well and expertly looking after their individual needs, something that requires a certain kind of person & alot of experience, but more importantly asking for & taking all feedback in a constructive manner.

For me at The Black Horse you have the perfect venue, perfect staff in abundance & perfectly cooked, high quality fine cuisine, what more could you ask for, I will most definitely be recommending this establishment to everyone and anyone, although I could end up shooting myself in the foot there!!!

The more people that know about this little diamond, the busier it will be, hope we still manage to get a table ��
