The museum is always interesting, however the cafe represents one enormous rip off regarding price and quality. How on earth can a mark up of over 600% on a 15 gm pack of Pom Bears be justified. A packet of PomBears cost approximately 17 pence in supermarkets (retail price) but on Saturday the cafe was charging £1.20. A latte coffee at £2.70 is close to motorway service prices and way above a far more decent latte at Costa. Absolutely disgraceful !!!!!! Do they really want customers?

Great museum telling the story of Bristol, it's suburbs and people from its founding to recent history. From Brunnel to Banksy they're all here. Just off and within easy walking distance of the centre of Bristol it is housed in, what appears to be old warehouses. Nice café within the museum with outside seating. Best of all it's free!

The M Shed is another fantastic free museum showcasing a fascinating collection of Bristol memorabilia. My young daughter loves it there. It is a great way to invest a couple of hours of time if you are visiting the city centre.
The cafe is spacious and has some good items on the menu, and the views from the cafe across the waterfront are beautiful.
