Another busy week ahead Open 12-5 Xmas Day 11-11 Boxing Day with loads of football and racing on Got the domino flyer on Wednesday “Lenny the Limp”won the pie on Wednesday there... Can't believe I've lived here 14 years and just started coming here....good Guinness and a relaxed atmosphere. Hope it carries on when the lease is sold!

I could easily do without the over-loud live bands and pick what you're doing: Listening to music or watching a TV (at entirely the wrong viewing-angle!)..

But, it's clean; dog-friendly; Neil the owner seems a nice-enough soul and he remembers people's' names; seating at the back is a bit pokey but I tend to sit in the front or at the bar.

If they had wi-fi, it would be five stars. My mistake, they do - but it is incredibly-slow, so sorry Neil, it's still four stars.

I'm rather surprised they've 'got away with' the price list - which is akin to Fawlty Towers-style typos!
