Up until this afternoon, I went to Wardlaw Medical Practice in here, which use to be called Dr Birkmyre and partners. It’s still the same practice minus Dr Birkmyre and with the addition of Dr Duffy who I had the misfortune of seeing this afternoon.

I was called in 25 minutes after my appointment time as the Dr was running late. I briefly explained what the problem was, a badly infected eye. I was rudely told that I should have made an appointment with my optician as she wasn’t capable of fully examining my eye. She then gritted her teeth and rudely shook her head at me while scribbling down on a piece of paper. I’m not a medical GP, but I think it’s fair to say that a red swollen eyelid, with pain and discharge coming out of my eye justified a visit to the Dr. I have also paid my national insurance contributions and taxes since I was 16.

Looks good!
