The toughest day of the TGO Challenge so far. We covered over 31km (I forgot to start recording until 5km in Doh). Walked alongside the River Spey until Laggan and then followed the stunning wilderness of Glen Banchor. Despite the dry weather there were still some very wet deep bogs waiting for us. Bumped into Cameron McNeish at the cafe at Laggan, a genuinely nice bloke.
Loving the new LEKI Black Series MVC walking poles, Been a trekking pole convert for a few years and these are the best I've ever used. Really light, a brilliantly simple locking mechanism, feel incredibly strong and the carbon deadens the impact on the ground. Awesome.

Day 1 of Danny's TGO Challenge. A largely wet day but what a great sunset.
Haglofs LIM Mtn Proof Anorak and Rab Flashpoint pants kept me comfortable and dry during the day.
