Been using Johnsons for several years, the service has gradually deteriorated. Just collected my suit from them and the jacket is heavily marked with some kind of thick dust or grime, which certainly wasn't there when I took it in. Absolutely disgusted. Even the most casual visual inspection would have shown this, I spotted it as soon as I took it out of the bag.

I was enquiring a range of dry cleaners for a pricing. How much can it cost to clean a dress, white, knee-hight? Guess? On the phone I was asked in a rather pressurising/rude tone how much my dress is worth.

Ok, back to the pricing, the website states occasion wear dress dry clean - £16.40 (which is a rather odd numeral as well). I stated that my dress is worth £600 after being asked that annoying question for few times with me confusingly replying 'Sorry, you mean..?' The price quote I've got was something between £40-50 as the numeral was so strange that I don't even remember anymore. Still, 40 quid for a dry clean?! No, thank you.
